Give everyday materials a better next chapter.

EXPLORE THE DISTRICTStart a run to route materials.

Practice the principles. Check local rules. This district is a fictional learning scenario, not a national disposal guide. Scores are game points—not real-world impact measurements.

Welcome to Loop Lab

Route. Learn. Upgrade.

  1. Read the material and its condition. Use the stated shift rules to choose one of five pathways.
  2. Tap, click, drag, or use keys 1–5. Keyboard shortcuts work only when this game has focus.
  3. Review what happens next. Feedback explains the correct pathway and links to the source. Select Next when you are ready.
  4. Choose your depth. Quick play is one eight-material mission. The full journey spans three missions, with an upgrade between each.

Explore: no time limit. Timed shift: 60 seconds of decision time per mission. The clock pauses during explanations, instructions, upgrades and pauses.

Scoring: 100 per correct choice, plus 20 for each successive correct choice up to an 80-point streak bonus. Upgrades add the stated bonuses. Clues are free. No real-world environmental quantities are calculated.

Motion follows your device preference and can be switched off. Sound starts off. Leaving the browser tab pauses an active shift.

Learning beyond the game

Follow the real local program.

Loop Lab uses fictional collection rules so the decisions are unambiguous. Those rules are not a substitute for guidance from your municipality, campus or hauler. General educational guidance was checked against these EPA resources on September 4, 2026.

Your data stays here.

The game saves only the best score for each experience, practice setting and pace in this browser’s local storage. It does not send gameplay data anywhere. Sound is optional and generated locally. Clearing browser storage or the button below removes saved scores.
